Every important fact has a trail.
The model page is only as useful as the evidence behind it. This is how we collect, compare and publish equipment information.
Specification sources
We prioritize manufacturer specification sheets, then manuals and product pages, followed by regulatory information and authorized dealer data. Community discussion is evidence of discussion, not a replacement for a manufacturer specification.
Price observations
A price is displayed only when an actual offer was observed, with its observation date. It is not called a current price unless verified in real time. Quotes and shipping can change the final cost.
Conflicts and freshness
A new value that disagrees with a published fact enters a review queue. It does not silently overwrite the old value. Model pages display their last verification date; stale records are surfaced to data operations.
Compatibility and buildout
Project checks return MATCH (one narrow established condition), MISMATCH (a known conflict), UNKNOWN (missing site or equipment data), or VERIFY (a configuration, installation or local question). Site observations, manufacturer facts, professional notes and assumptions are distinct. Progress contacting a professional does not clear a conflict. These are planning aids, not an installation or legal approval.
Costs, timing and local questions
Only selected equipment quantities enter known purchase amounts; candidates do not. Observed prices and user estimates/quotes have source and date labels. Unquoted equipment and buildout scopes are gaps, not zero. We do not generate nationwide cost ranges or calculated opening dates. Local topics are questions unless applicability is supported by reviewed official evidence; user-added links are not audited rules, and ZIP does not identify a unique AHJ.
Owner issues and AI
We only publish model-specific owner issue clusters when actual referenced discussions support them. AI may extract or summarize source material, but an unsupported statement is never published as a fact. Low-confidence and conflicting extractions require review.
Commercial independence
A merchant offer can help you reach a seller, but it does not affect source priority, comparison rows or compatibility verdicts.
